Nomination period for International Nanotechnology Prize RUSNANOPRIZE is already opened!
RUSNANOPRIZE – the major international award specialized in “nano” field. RUSNANOPRIZE is annually awarded for nanotechnology scientific and technological developments and inventions commissioned into mass production with the annual turnover of at least 10 mln dollars.
The Prize was established by State corporation “Russian corporation of nanotechnologies” (RUSNANO) in 2009. RUSNANO is a leading international investment company in innovational field.
RUSNANOPRIZE mission.
The Prize is established to promote:
- wide public recognition of achievements in the area of nanotechnologies development, their practical application and commissioning into production;
- international cooperation in the area of nanotechnologies;
- public recognition of the role of individual development scientists and companies implementing nanotechnology developments.
The Prize is awarded annually in one of the following fields:
- optics and electronics;
- nanomaterials and surface modification;
- medicine, pharmacology and biotechnologies;
- energy efficiency and “green” technologies.
In 2012 RUSNANOPRIZE will be awarded in the field of Medicine, pharmacology and biotechnologies.
Prize fund of 2012 award is 3 million rubles (over 90 000 dollars).
Monetary rewards, decoration symbols, honorary diploma of the Prize and prize-winner badges are awarded to inventors, scientists and developers who are the authors of a research and development project or projects on one topic or direction successfully implemented in mass production.
A company that has reached a considerable commercial success due to such project(s) implementation is awarded with an honorary diploma and a decoration symbol.
